Picked up a 16 oz can at from the Blue Door Bottleshop in Hendersonville on 3-10-25 for $5.00. Canned 2-20-25; consumed 5-7-25. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured golden brown with a nice white head.
Nose is very nice as the coffee dominates.
Taste is nicely done as the light pale malt base played well with the coffee addition. The milk and sugar are deftly played in. Finishes with a touch of coffee bitterness and a kiss of lactose.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and fairly smooth and refreshing.
Overall this is an interesting take on the “milk stout” style.
