Appearance: Arrives at the bar eith a hazy honey colored body, a bit of head and not much lacing
Smell: Some fruity tones, but undistinct
Taste: Sweet malt flavors balance with some fruity hops; bitter finish
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation
Drinkability: Well balanced and surprisingly sweet/fruity for an IPA made with English hops

Appears a hazy amber with pockets of carbonation. Decent frothy white head. Excellent lacing is left behind, leaving rings of webs throughout the glass. Small amounts of sediment in the bottom of the glass.
Smell is of florally perfumey, and a lemon-lime mixed orange.
Taste is probably the sweetest IPA I've ever tasted. Plenty of bitters though in the sweet citrusy blend. Perhaps there is a rich malt balance somewhere in this but it isn't really noticeable due to the amount of sweetness. There is also a slight iced tea like taste to this brew.
Mouthfeel is sweet and bitter in a smooth, medium bodied brew.
Drinkability - Despite the slightly odd sweetness to this, it's a good drinking brew. A different IPA from this port town along the Cape Fear.

The beer arrived at the table a crystal clear pale golden straw with a low yet persistent head.
The aroma was earthy and grassy hops (Fuggle) with a malt presence in the background.
The flavor was bitter with slight caramel and low malt prescence, which was a little surprising. The beer was balanced more toward bittering and was out of balance with the lack of malt.
The finish was dry and bitter with a caramel impression in the aftertaste. The body was medium light.
Pint at the brewpub.
