The beer poured a clear golden with a persistent white head which lasted to lace the glass.
The aroma was malty with a crisp hop aroma.
The flavor was well accomplished with soft yet substantial hop bittering and a decent malt backbone to keep it from being overly bitter. The hops and malt balance is well accomplished.
The finish is just dry with soft bittering lasting into the aftertaste. The body is just a bit below medium.
Well done. Never knew Front Street bottled their beers. Nice to have a fresh beer in the bottle from a local brewery.
22 ounce bottle purchased at Winesellar and More on 7-2-04, bottled on July 1.
