had with an exceptional meal of pretzels and bratwurst at the brewery in wilmington, nc.
A- Clear golden amber, nice white sticky foam and plenty of spotty lace
S- Very fresh! As it should be. Grainy citrus lemon floral aroma and well balanced sweetish malt.
T- Pretty much same as aroma with some oddly appealing solvent notes layered through the lemony floral hops. Same as I noticed the the hop pellets the showed us in the mini-tour of the brewery. Finish brisk and clean with grassy hop aftertaste.
MF- Light medium body, nice prickly carbonation, refreshing and goes down smoothly.
D- very nice drinkable lager and not too Americanized. All the things I like about Munich lagers with a slight increase on the hops. Well done.
