a: good looking porter...nearly opaque chestnut brown with decent head retention
s: smoke is somewhat light, and more wood-char than the meaty smoke of other examples, as well as being very well integrated with the other aromas...solid porter foundation with plenty of roasted malts and a little dark chocolate
m: smooth, medium carbonation and body
t: nice balance between the subdued smoke, roasted and dark chocolate malts, and earthy hops...flavorful and well crafted
d: good for a few
