From Notes:

Poured a very dark purple color with a raspy whit head. Aroma was quite porterish. I didnt really detect any vanilla in the aroma but there were some american hops in there with some chocolate and coffee malts. A touch of biscuit as well. Smooth taste. Very low on the astringency and roastiness which is spot on for style. However, there was a slight vegetal taste that detracted somewhat. Medium bodied. Very drinkable. Quite good actually. I would easily have this one again. Very well done.
