From BeerAdvocate Magazine #73 (Feb 2013):
The 4th installment to Front Street Brewery’s SIngle Hop Project. Full on Nugget hop here, we really did a get a feel for this hop … very well displayed. Certainly a big enough Pale Ale to hold up to this old school high alpha hop but loose enough to let this hop go at it. Could easily see having a growler of this beer around at all times.
STYLE: Pale Ale
ABV: 5.8%
AVAILABILITY: Rotating
LOOK: Clear brassy tone, amazing lacing
SMELL: Fresh hop oil, caramel, grassy, soft resin, herbal, pine, green tea, ripe pears
TASTE: Super creamy, mildly crisp bite, quite hoppy, balanced bitterness, bready, fresh cut hay, pineapple rind, walnut skin, minty, mild tobacco, dried apples, faint caramel, earthy, hoppy semi-dry finish
