Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country...
L- Deep amber to pale brown. Thes bottle had rested for a few weeks and been chilled but major sediment lifted swiftly at the end of the pour. [Not a -ve, just an observation]. Further very thick sediment left in the bottle. Pours with a 2Cm pale tan pillowy foam head. ps@+10mins, holds up well and forms lacing...
S- Clear Belgian yeast notes, spicy and complex.
T- Quite robust dry-hops on top of a malty body. It seems pretty full on, so one for slow sipping for me.
F- Great natural feeling CO2 in the mouth. It's very well hopped, with a major piquant/bright hop aspect to it.
O- What's the ABV here, about 7.5%? The bold hops and malts part balance out and the hops net win out. - In conclusion a bit hoppier than I'd usually choose, but the robust malts underpinning it just about saves the recipe.
Review #1887/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the bottle lables to see what I missed! ==> 'Three hops, three malts'.
330ml bottle BB: 7/11/2022 Euro2.95 Bought from BeerMania/Belgium as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.
