I love this brewery/taproom. I love that they routinely have a wide enough selection in range of different beer styles that anyone would be happy. I was there last weekend and they had 4 IPAs on draft, 5 different lagers, 2 sours a porter and a stout... not to mention a seltzer and a slushie. They have free popcorn and a large selection of bratwursts and grilled cheese sandwich options. They are definitely doing things correctly.

I visited Audacious Aleworks on 2/02/2020. The bartenders were very attentive to our questions and offered a taste ant beer we requested. They had 13 beers on tap and 3 hard seltzers. They offered growlers and 4 packs to go as well. They did have a limited menu, but we didn't get anything to eat, so I can't attest to their food. They do allow outside food to be consumed in the tap room.
All of the beers we tried were decent. None were outstanding, but they were all very drinkable.

The IPA I had was just average but a great environment and service.
The place has some food now.
A great vibe, great service and friendly people all around but the beer is just average if not below.
I like the place, would bring my kids for dinner but it’s not a hangout.

I was the first one there when it opened, the place is spacious and can accommodate a lot of people. They had about fifteen taps and also had cans to go for those beers no longer on tap.

I wish it were good. It is in a convenient spot and the people working there seem nice as do those that visit. However, I didn’t enjoy any of their IPAs. I appreciate good beers that just aren’t my style but that wasn’t the case. I tried 3 times. Maybe they will get better with new recipes at some point. I was hoping it was good

Ok, initial review is pre-Grand Opening, three people came in asking if they were open, even. Will re-review at an appropriate time.
A taproom only, it had a dingke serving bar of about 15 seats, six high top, 4 seat tables co-located to be basically community tables, and a separate rail bar to sit and set a beer. Total square footage is used up with these, two family bathrooms.
The staff was nice and fairly eager, though there just wasn’t much business since it’s “barely” open.
The beers were mostly ok. Styles didn’t all come across as strictly adhered to, but ignoring that most were tasty enough. Nothing jumped out (yet?) but I’m hoping feedback and improvement are part of the game plan. The game plan as explained to me seemed ambitious with a varied style portfolio (at least proclaimed). The board on my visit did have a decent range of styles, not 80% IPAs or such, which is good.

I literally discovered this brand new small batch brewery while on the way to Dogfish Head; it is located in a small strip mall across the street from THE Falls Church. It is a low-key place with a good-sized bar, several communal high top tables and a set of tanks along the wall. Apparently, the brewer Brian is a former IT guy. They have about 10 taps, including 3 IPAs (Thirsty Work was my fave and it was very good.) They also offered a stout (Nitro and Co2), a tasty ESB and a sweet porter. They opened about two weeks ago and are already putting out some great beers. It is not too far from Mad Fox, so it makes for a decent crawl. BTW, I never made it to Dogfish Head. Check this place out for American Beer Week!
