Clear golden brew with admirable piles of foam in the Maredsous goblet. Aroma is light, with whiffs of melon, alfalfa, and lime. Less sweet than a lot of current IPAs. It tastes like fresh hops with straw. Actually it doesn't taste like much, but it could pass for a Brut IPA with the dry fizzy mouthfeel. I have to say it's better than a lot of Bruts if you think of it that way. Resiny finish but moderate bitterness. The aromatics fall short, but it's quite drinkable. From the six-pack of 12 oz cans.

12oz can poured into 14oz teku. Poured a lightly hazy medium-dark gold color with about 3/4 inch of white head that had low retention and lacing.
The aroma was fairly neutral, a touch of malt showing through with some citrus and floral hops on top.
Same on the tongue, at first. But, at the back of the palate, there was a harshness that wasn't just hop bitterness.
The body was fairly typical for the style, medium-light, with a dry finish.
Drinkability was OK, except for that harshness on the very back of the palate. It didn't fade over the course of the glass, and made finishing the can a bit of a chore.
Overall, mostly an average beer, with one bad attribute. Decide for yourself, or don't. Wutevz.
