Served in 20oz shaker. Poured a solid black color with 3/4 inch of light brown head that had very good retention and lacing.
The aroma was fully malty, and had nice roast aspect that was much stronger than generally found in the style.
The same on the tongue, solid malts, but roast dominant.
The body was nicely smooth, but a touch thin for the style, and had a semi-dry finish.
Drinkability was good, the beer was an easy drinker.
Overall, a solid take on the style. Worth a shot if you see it.
