Pours a virtually clear golden amber withabundant foam in the Orval chalice. A clear and filtered hazy? Pours clear to the bottom. But not complaining, as it also tastes very clean. Fruity with green melon and citrus. A peppery note for the finish.
Surprisingly pleasant with a modest bite to the finish, without the acidic jaws. But not very bitter either, which may be the legacy of the NE recipe. From the 12 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. This canned version is 7.7 ABV. Dated 12/22/21.
