Hazy amberish brew with plenty of foam in the tall goblet. Some kind of odd fruit aroma, like currants with leaf mold and a whiff of citrus. Rather astringent after some sipping. Tastes of green tea, tart kiwi, and grapefruit peel in the finish.
Features Galaxy hops but also brewed with Chinook. Really quite bitter with that vegetal and murky sort of taste. I would call it a NE style but it doesn't seem to have so much raw grain and acidity. Sharp, though, and heads toward the harsh aftertaste. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 07/16/21.
