Clear, bright golden yellow with a mustache of foam in the Brigand chalice. Modest spritz on the tongue. Inviting aroma of roasted grain with a touch of alfalfa. Clean and toasty tasting. Some grain with a smooth malty finish. Lively touch of Euro hops with a resiny note.
This is really an excellent Lager. Lighter than a Pilsner, plenty of hops, and a warming trend of malt. Long aromatic nose of straw and earth. Even a touch of lingering sweetness which I happen to like in this case. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 12/22/21.

16oz can (dated 12/22/21) poured into 16oz tulip. poured a clean, clear, bright, light gold color, with two inches of white head that had good retention and light-moderate lacing.
The aroma was musty and dank, like a dirt basement, with some earthy grain showing through. Very light floral hops in the background.
The flavors were similar, but a bit better; not as dirty, and had a light touch of hop bitterness on the back end.
The body was light and smooth, but was a bit full and sticky, and had a slight touch of hop bitterness on the finish.
Drinkability was OK, but hampered a bit by the fullness, and the clingy body.
Overall, eh, maybe it would be better tubing on the river in July afternoon, than a windy, rainy January night. Try it or don't.
