On tap at Radio Social in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a slightly hazy orange-ish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like orange juice, marijuana, pine, and grassiness.
This is definitely better than the first Wood Kettle beer I had earlier today, which was pretty bad. This is still not super great, but it's getting there. It doesn't have that crispness or depth of flavor you really want out of this sort of thing. There is some nice pineapple and clean piney bitterness, as one might want in these sorts of situations. With a few touch ups, I could imagine this beer getting better.
This is light bodied, a touch muddled and sweet, with a somewhat decent level of drinkabiity.
This brewery is not reinventing the wheel, or even driving that wheel to any interesting locations, but I can see some potential here.
