The Other Half brewery has organised an open-ended brewing project, in support of all in the brewing and hospitality sector suffering from the Covid-19.
Served in my trusty "Seef" tumbler.
When I poured the beer a lovely floral and citrus aroma filled the air.
The beer has a hazy brownish amber colour. Compact egg-shall coloured head is 0,5cm thick.
Scent gives fresh citrus hops, cereal, dried fruit.
Flavour is thick and creamy. Well ballanced between sourness, hops and yeast. Fresh cream, subtle lemon zest, almond yeast, some vanilla devellops towards the aftertaste.
The aftertaste is stronger on yeast , more vanilla and lemon zest. Lactic yoghurt mouthfeel. Peppery in the end.
A winner for me. One of the few succesful attempts in Belgium of an American IPA.
