750ml bottle poured into a snifter. This is an Imperial stout brewed with chocolate, graham cracker and marshmallow.
Pours a black with brownish when held up to the light supporting a light tan colored head that dissipates into a ring around the glass. A lot of sweetness on the nose. Chocolate is prominent, maybe a hint of graham cracker. Not much in term of marshmallow but I’m sure it is the slightly artificial-smelling sweetness I’m getting.
Much like the aroma, there is a lot of sweetness in the taste up front. The mouthfeel is thinner than expected with low-moderate carbonation. Definitely a dessert beer. Not bad, but personally I would have preferred a little bit more body with this beer.
