An old German/Dutch quote. The Dunnerwetter is an India Pale Ale that offers notes of fruit and pine. Simcoe hops create a smooth, clean bitterness that every IPA drinker loves. Named by contest winner Kris Gantert, “Dunnerwetter” means thunderstorm in Pennsylvania Dutch.

16oz pour into a large goblet at the brewery this afternoon.
Looks good, slightly hazy light amber colored body with a nice white head which persists throughout leaving some lacing.
Not much of an aroma, save a little non citrus fruit.
On tasting, this is nicely balanced between the malt & hops, neither being powerful. Very drinkable, and at 5.7, very sessionable too. Clean tasting brew.
Mouth medium, finish gives the edge to the malt.
Overall, solid basic ipa offering.
