Why Escape? Our bold India Pale Ale is full of classic American hops featuring Cascade, Willamette, and Cluster clocking in at 103 IBUs. The lightly roasted malts create a copper colored ale that has a taste as iconic as the legendary island it is named after.

12 oz can into a ‘can glass’, in Miami, FL.
Canned 1/28/25, drunk today.
Fair finger of foam on copper color brew.
Nose is grapefruit rind and a sharp pine note.
Taste is right there, too. I appreciate the mix of Cascade, Willamette and Columbus hops. Good malt balance has a sweet note that checks the hops and allows the bitterness to shine. Long dry finish.
Mouth is dead-on medium in body with medium carbonation.
Overall, a decent fruity and bitter DIPA worth a try.

The pour is copper colored. The taste is piney hops, grapefruit pith, resin, & orange chiffon cake. Cheers! A-

Appears a cloudy amber. Smell was lacking to me, nothing noteworthy. Taste is a unique blend of various citrus, nothing dominant, keeps you guessing. Mouthfeel is the zone between too thin, too heavy. Glad I picked this up, even reminded me of the Leon Russell song.

Look - nice golden amber & a little hazy
Smell - light hops, floral
Taste - piney hops really come thru with a bit of the floral notes up front. Follows with a slightly sweet caramel malt flavor. Little bitterness on the finish that settles in for a lasting aftertaste.
Feel - medium carbonation and feel
Overall - This is a solid brew that pairs well with Alcatrazz "Jet to Jet"

Poured a copper see-thru body with good head that left lace down the glass. Floral and strong citric aroma. Smooth, clean, very bitter and citrusy with dry finish. Easy to drink, balanced with some malts, relaxing west coast IPA and enjoyable.

I'm not into IPAs, but imperials I do enjoy, and this one, I do enjoy...
...Reminiscent of the Southern Tier namesake, this one has a very good look, a very similar smell, and overall it's about as good if not better. IPAs are alright, a bit oversold in my opinion, but imperial IPAs are in a class on their own...
