Imperial Coffee Stout

Double Cold Brew is very dark with a pronounced head and a long, lingering finish. The beer is not dry, nor is it sweet - it strikes a complex balance in between. The coffee beans are Guatemalan Nueva Amanacer, single hybrid beans that are single sourced from 5000 feet of elevation. The roast was “low and slow” to gently extract the chocolate, almond, and honey notes from these coffee beans. Enjoy!

Poured into a large stemless wineglass. Gorgeous. Awesome huge tan head, tons of carbonation that stuck around.

No real nose. Was hoping for coffee.

Good stout, slight notes of coffee, not sweet at all.

Very good reasonably priced beer.

12oz can, painted label. Bottom stamp is 'BEST BY 05/19/2025'.
Black colored body, with a red mahogany lack lit edge. One finger of tan colored head with the pour and this sticks around as a thin cap and high ring. Leaves behind thick lacing strings.
Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, and a bit of chocolate.
Taste is sweet, with bitter coffee flavors. Other flavors are from the roasted grain malts, along with chocolate, and a bit of vanilla. Long lasting bitter coffee aftertaste.
A little more than medium mouthfeel. Smooth and creamy texture. Higher ABV% is well hidden behind the coffee and chocolate. Very good carbonation.
Lots of dark roast coffee flavor, even with a older can.

The pour is jet black with a tan head of carbonation. The taste is roasted malt, coffee, & hints of dark chocolate. Furthermore, the 8.8% abv is well hidden. Overall, this was a good Imperial Stout but the coffee could be a little more potent. Cheers ! A-

Super strong roasty coffee notes in the aroma and taste, dry finish. Well masked ABV, easy drinker at 8.8%.
