Gluten free IPA brewed with millet, buckwheat, oats and rice.
Clear, pale yellow with orange, globs of trub that sank and stuck to the bottom of my glass. Low head faded quickly.
Aroma is not bad - citrus and tropical fruit with some sweet honey-like notes.
The flavor is more fruit and no body, mild hop bite at the back end.
Finish is clean and dry with hints of citrus ( citra) hops.

Poured from a 16 ounce can dated 8-4-25 into a tulip glass at 50 degrees.

Look- Straw, mildly hazy, white sudsy head, below average head retention and lacing.

Smell- Moldy grass, rotten papaya, orange, between medium and high strength of scent.

Taste- Grassy, overripe papaya, orange, medium strength of flavor.

Feel- Thin body, average carbonation, mildly creamy, moderately bitter, mildly dry finish, mildly mouth warming.

Overall- Straw and mildly hazy with below average head retention and lacing. The bouquet was an awful mix of cut grass that’s been in the yard bin for a week during the summer, rotten papaya and orange. After pouring it in a tulip glass I wished I could have put it back in the can to cut down on the aromatics I had to endure. The flavor was better than the nose, but that’s not saying much. Instead of rotting grass and rotting papaya, like the nose, the flavor was more of just strong grass and very overripe papaya. The feel was decent. The only major detractor was the thin body. Overall this beer was one of the worst I have had. I feel bad that I gifted my father-in-law who has celiac disease the other three beers from the four pack, but relieved at the same time that I don’t have to drink them.

Look: Golden in color and nearly clear with a sudsy head that noisily settles to a lid, leaving nice lacing behind

Aroma: Pine, lemons, rice water, navel orange, ‘green beer,’ cereal grains, and tangerine

Taste: Opens up with a rush or orange and lemon that hit quickly and start to settle in, developing depth as they do. Cereal grains and rice come next, occasionally getting interrupted by pine needles and tangerine and this goes back and forth with lemon-orange until the ‘green beer’ part comes to the forefront on the close

Mouthfeel: Full but light, very clean, medium-high carbonation, and spritzy and clean on the finish

Overall: I dig it. My first ever gluten-free beer outside of a few tastes from my buddy’s GF beers over the years and honestly, I’m impressed. The non-barley malt seems to lead to a light feeling beer as this flirts with rice lager feel but the flavor is good and without knowing, you could possibly fool me into thinking this isn’t a GF beer, which is a great thing and compliment to these folks. This taste hits you right away as being very different than most beers with a taste of tart apple, grapefruit rind with bit of limon-lime as well. I found the taste not really to my liking and would never buy again.

12oz can (dated 5/8/20) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a very cloudy orange color with an inch of white head that dissipated quickly and left zero lacing.

The aroma had bright citrus tones at the front, with just a bit of grain in the background.

Pretty similar on the tongue, but the grains had a bit of an odd funk to it. The grains used were millet, rice, buckwheat, and oats.

The body was medium-light, crisp, and had a dry finish.

Drinkability was fine, no issues.

Overall, a solid enough brew, and a good choice if you need a GF brew.

Very turbid dark gold with one finger of white five minute head. No lacing.
Smell is funky gym clothes.
Taste is phenolic apple skins some malt.
Mouthfeel is light to medium with good carbonation. Finish is lightly dry and balanced.
Overall a beer to avoid unless you need gluten free.
