On draft at Common Block. Poured an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. it left thin lacing. It smelled of chocolate, roasted malt and toffee. Sweet chocolate taste with roasted malt, coffee and caramel.

Our first original house brew from 2015, the Common Block Pale Ale is a go-to staple. Pleasantly crisp and clean, this ale lets Northwest hops take center stage, while offering a smooth and less-bitter finish. Simple, refreshing, uncomplicated…a beer for the Commons.
