Poured into a hybrid pint from the tap a the Klamath Falls location.
A: Crystal clean deep copper. Thick mainly white head is strong, retained to a thick 4mm disk the entire quaff.
S: Hops are earthy, mineral and herbal. Perfect foil to a potentially sweet, malty style. Nose has some malty sweetness.
T: Amazing but not to style. Hops are a bit forward for Amber style, but I absolutely loved this beer for what it is, and that's a perfect counterpart to the pizza. Try this beer and the pizza together.
M: Medium and not as heavy as I would have expected for an amber of what it looks like it should be. Carbonation plays a role here, and it was spot on.
O: I love Amber ales and I am critical of style drift when done over the top of malt or hops....that being said, I am going to ding it for being just a bit too herbal on the hops and not quite malty enough. I most definitely will be back and will have this beer again: don't think I am just bagging on it...it really is good, just some style drift.

Taster Flight at Common Block. Amber pour, Nice off-white tight head. malty aroma, toasty, light nutty notes. Taste is malty and mildly sweet. Very smooth, almost creamy.
