Clear dark amber brown with plenty of foam in the chalice. Aroma of roasted grain and alfalfa. Plentiful spritz on the tongue. Nutty with a touch of burnt sugar, but not overly sweet. Green herbal taste along with dark flavors of bitter chocolate, but then more hoppy bitterness. Woodsy and astringent aftertaste. From the 16 oz crowler can filled at the brewpub.
