Dark clear brown with adequate foam in the jelly jar, which is how they serve half pints at Ogres. Pleasant aroma of green herbs and grain. Malty with roasted flavors. Grainy and a little sweet. A more robustly-flavored sort of Brown Ale. Quite hoppy with a distinct bitter aftertaste. An interesting and quite drinkable brew from what might be described as a backwoods brewery.
