A 6.7% DDH IPA - bright, juicy & tropical, it's our take on a modern IPA, generously double dry hopped (obviously) with Galaxy and Citra. Aromas of stone fruits, pineapple and papaya with a dry & bitter finish.

Pours a hazy, pale orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and tropical/citrus notes of passion fruit, papaya and grapefruit. Taste is a great balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, slightly grassy hops, with tropical and citrus notes of passion fruit, papaya, mango and grapefruit. Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and some papaya and grapefruit lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
I've really enjoyed the creative and well-balanced sours I've had from Wander Beyond, but this NEIPA left me a little disappointed, to be honest. I mean. it's a nice enough example of the style, it just lacks the bright, vibrant juiciness and soft mouthfeel to really stand out, while I particularaly missed that distinct passion fruit character I expect from galaxy, which feels a little washed out here. There some strong citrus zest to this in addition to the slightly acidic tropical notes, but no real green notes to speak of except a light grassiness.
