Macon Waves with Papaya and Coconut

For eleven long hours, cannons bombarded the Fort's shore in 1862. Only until the end, surrender was never a thought, as an overwhelming force was laid upon those Macon waves.

As a tribute, we brewed this Double India Pale Ale with Papaya and Coconut. Pouring straw yellow in color, a mélange of tropical fruit burst from the glass. The flavor follows suit with citrusy piña colada as the predominant characteristic. This finishes gently with a grapefruit-like bitterness and medium-light body.

These notes come together from a coordinated dance between the fruit and our double dry hopping of Azacca and Citra Cryo pellets.
