Our french vanilla coffee blonde ale hits the nose with roasty notes of a morning coffee, followed by a creamy and velvety vanilla flavor with notes of hazelnut and caramel.

A: Pours a crystal clear medium golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate bright yellow + pale yellow + apricot colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense sudsy foamy bright white head that reduces to a handful of small patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of slightly mottled thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of freshly ground coffee over the top of light to moderate aromas of vanilla with hints of hazelnut + caramel + Irish Cream. Underneath there are just shy of moderate aromas of pale + lightly toasted + grainy malts with a light to moderate amount of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of pale + lightly toasted + grainy malts with a light to moderate amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by light to moderate flavors of coffee + moderate flavors of vanilla along with light flavors of hazelnut + caramel + Irish Cream. Finally there is a hint of earthy hops. Light amounts of lingering roasty bitterness in the finish.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a relatively clean mouthfeel. Enjoyable with a flavored coffee bean (vanilla + caramel + hazelnut + Irish Cream) taste and aroma - I have not gotten coffee or had a coffee made with flavored bean since the early 90s but the impression of them stuck with me. Decent non-stout breakfast beer.
