This is the hoppiest and most floral NA beer I've ever had.
Nice pour with a thick foamy head. Immediate, pronounced floral aroma and this follows on the palate.
Dry finish.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange yellow with a small white head. Smells of grassy and citrus hops. Tastes of grassy hops with very nice citrus notes. Beer is easy drinking, light bodied, and has good carbonation. Overall, a very good NA beer.

Pours a golden honey with a light haze to the translucency. Head is two fingers of white foam. Aroma is grassy and herbal hops, but undercut by a raw grain, worty, semi-sweet note. Flavor profile brings that raw grain, worty taste forward. Grassy and herbal hops mingle, but aren't enough to distract from the grain note. Mouth feel is crisp, with a medium-thin consistency. Effervescence is sharp. Overall, a sharp, refreshing 'IPA', but it's a bit aggressive on the grain side, which detracts from the experience.

Served in a 15.5oz Speigalau tulip from a 12oz can.

Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 11/5/21.

Appearance: medium golden hue with a bit of haze and a light effervescence. Head is a thick finger of frothy ivory foam. A good-looking IPA.

Smell: big, dank hops with a mild underlying sweetness. Something is missing from a beeriness standpoint, but the hops are quite good.

Taste: a bit of sweet base with a moderately bitter hop character atop. There is some malt flavor, and though it's not 100% convincing as regular beer, for NA it's very good indeed.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess. This is the category where NA beers usually suffer, and where Athletic seems to do a particularly good job. Great!

Overall: I mean, for NA this is a very solid beer. For me it doesn't quite replace the experience of a delicious IPA, but in this particular category, it's right up near the top.

Had this on 2021-11-23 near Pittsburgh, PA from a 12 canned on 2021-11-05

A - Pretty clear straw with a 1-finger white head

S - Pineapple and sorghum cereal

T - The pineapple is very forward in the flavor, muting somewhat the sorghum house malt flavor. There some pine and Pale Ale level bitterness.

M - Light body and medium carbonation. Dry on the finish.

O - Refreshing after a long hike.
