Pours a foggy pale straw color with two fingers of white foam. Aroma is mild herbal, grassy, and tropical fruit hops. There is a worty sweetness just beyond that elevates the sweetness on the nose. Bready malts add some further depth, and push it just a touch more sweet. Flavor profile follows a lot of the same cues, but carries more balance. Tropical fruits, tangerine, and grassy hops all meld together to form the bulk of the flavor profile. Mild earthy, and heavy bready malts elevate it slightly, and help establish balance. The worty aroma on the nose is more obscured in the flavor profile, but it's still present, particularly at the end as the hops fade out. Mouth feel is a soft crispness, thinking something tempura fried vs deep fried, with a dry finish. Thickness is medium-thin. Overall, clean and easy to drink, it's hop forward without being an absolute onslaught of notes.

12 oz can poured into a modified perfect pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy very pale yellow with fluffy 2 finger head that dies down to leave a thin film of fine bubbles with islands of sudsy head. Not a lot of scent coming off the beer. Sort of grassy with very subtle orange or tangerine overtones. Same with the taste. Not much bitterness at all for an IPA. Mouthfeel body on the lighter side of average. Same with the carbonation. I personally don't feel this is one of the better examples of Athletic's IPA abilities. 70 cal, 16 gm carbs, 50 IBU
