Appearance: Slightly cloudy straw-yellow color with a generous-sized, foamy white head that slowly faded. A nice looking beer.
Smell: Mild to moderate pine aromas, some mild fruit aromas and a touch of garlic aromas.
Taste: Following the nose upfront I get some garlic/onion notes, a touch of hay notes finishing with some bitter hop notes. The hop bitterness is upfront with perhaps the tiniest hint of fruity hop notes. The beer has a dry finish.
Mouth-feel: The beer has a fairly light body with a generous level of carbonation.
Overall: The hop profile is not what I usually seek out in an IPA but the prominent hop presence and bitterness result in this beer coming off as a good N/A take on an IPA.
