Looks and smells the part well enough, but this tastes awful worty to me. It's a sugary, malt-forward wort, but wort all the same. Hops are bitter, but not overdone. It's not wholly unpleasant, but Athletic has far better Summertime NA options, especially their sours.

Appearance:
Hazy straw gold. Persistent head and decent amount of lacing.
Aroma:
Crackery, slightly caramelized malt. Low grassy hops.
Flavor:
Sugary (but not "worty" as in unfermented) Vienna and Munich malts on the tongue. Has that well-rounded taste you get from imported beers of regular strength in this style that are made by traditional methods such as decoction mashing. Nondescript noble hops to balance. Clean, malty finish.
Mouthfeel:
Light to medium. Nominal CO2 and no astringency or burn. Feels less watery than expected for the low alcohol category. It feels like Athletic has found a way to give their beers a more authentic mouthfeel.
Overall:
I have to warn you, this still tastes and looks "different" due to how it is made and what it appropriately lacks (alcohol). But once your palate acclimates and your liver sighs in relief, all the remaining flavors are quite pleasing, and as close to the target style as Athletic can get with their proprietary NA methods. You could copy/paste this to most of what Athletic makes. Thanks to innovative brewers like Athletic, a future with less alcohol is a lot brighter.
