From Athletic's website: Nada Pineapple Upside Down Shake. Milkshake IPAs have lactose, aka milk sugar, to resemble a shake, plus the nada is an ode to being non-alcoholic. This brew is not only a mouthful to say, it’s packed with a mouthful of flavor! This light-pink IPA layers flavors of pineapple and cherry. Belma hops add a little more fruit notes to the brew to help play with the tropical and fruity aromas.
Yeah, this is pretty good, even if it sounds better on paper. This is plagued a bit by the dehydrated onion scent I far too often find in IPAs these days, but it's hidden well on the tongue with a good deal of sweetness. You do get some pineapple flavor but not enough to where I'd have put the word in the beer's name. I guess they had to name it something, though. Pretty low bitterness and it's all but washed away by the sweetness anyway. Not bad at all!
