I picked up a six pack ($10.99) for my expectant wife. It delivers exactly as advertised and better than I expected - tart, juicy, lime flavor with a hint of astringency (reminiscent of lime zest). Touch of salinity. Some bready malt. If you served this to me blind, I would not suspect it was NA. Impressive. And all for a mere 40 calories.

Very short -lived loose white head. Smell and taste are both overtly lime. The taste is like someone took a Corona Lite, watered it down and added a couple jiggers of lime juice with hints of salt. Nothing really to recommend this unless you want something that does not taste like beer and you really like a lot of lime in your "beer". Very disappointing since I generally like the Athletic brews.

I really like the Athletic IPAs - they are heavy on the flavor and don't feel like you're imbibed in a real IPA. However, this brew is so light, so utterly devoid of flavor that it makes me wonder what the actual value proposition is. I think if they added a bit more salt, it would be more satisfying and make one feel 'full', despite it being only 40 calories. This is not something I would pick up again.
