Part of a flight of beers sampled at the brewery, straight from the keg into a 5 ounce tasting glass. Named after the old Ford tractor from the '50's and early '60's., According to the menu there is still one operating on the farm. The body of the beer, which is a Rye flavored stout, is jet black, with a caramel colored head that provided good lacing while the beer is consumed. Sweet roasted malt aroma, with just a hint of the rye. On the first sip it's mostly about the smoky roasted malt, but a bit of the rye comes thru at the end, which helps with the sweetness from the malt. Nice variation on the standard stout.
