Malty nose. Strong malt presence on the sweet side as opposed to the heavily roasted side.
Pour is a medium copper gold fantastic lace and a skim coat left.
Flavor is just a touch on the sweet side with malt banging through but nicely hot a little more hopped than your normal back which I guess makes it a maibock. Fairly long finish for the style which hints at sweet but eventually goes quite clean. This is an extremely sessionable beer
