Tap pour at the taproom. Served chilled in a stemmed tulip glass. On the listing board, spelled as 'John's Chile Beer'.
Clear, pale amber colored body. Slight off white head. Leaves behind scattered lacing spots.
Aroma is rich with green vegetal chiles. Bit of toasted grain malts.
Taste follows the note with the distinct flavor of green chiles. Supported by toasted grain malts. Has a sweet note. Very slight chile burn, which extends into the aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel. Smooth texture. Slight tongue burn, if left to sit on the tongue. Okay carbonation.
Very well done chile beer. Solid malt base and a measured level of heat.
