Dark mahogany brown with a fluffy cap of tan foam that stays put for a good while. Drippy lace in the glass, lasting surface coverage.
Mellow aroma, toasty malt with light apple esters. Taste is smooth and malty, nutty with a touch of apple, mild bitterness in the aftertaste. Ample carb, supple feel, easy drinking. Really liked this one.

Had on tap. Brown body, tan head, layers of lacing. Dunkel yeast and caramel malt make up the simple smell. Taste has some dried dark fruit added, but is still yeast driven, kind of bland but not bad. Feel is lighter and thinner for the style, but oh so smooth and yeast finish is pleasantly uplifting. Paired well with potstickers
