I drank this beer on the patio of Café Kobus Kuch in Delft. The beer is especially brewed for this café and coffeehouse Kelyweg in Delft at the Halve Maan in Hulst and is a reproduction of the beer brewed in the 17th century by brewery " De Verkeerde Weereld".

Color was amber with nice head ans good retention. According to the waitress, the yeast sediment should be drank with it, so this gave the beer some haziness.

Smell was good, typically belgian pale ale. Some malt with yeasty fruitiness and a roasted note.

Taste was good, although not very outspoken. A solid malt backbone with defenite roasted malts that give the beer a nice depth. I can taste some fruits, like apricots and cherries. Low hop bitterness, but hops can be tasted and together with the maltbitterness, a nice round taste.
I was not very fond of the mouthfeel, taste was gone very fast. Drinkability was good, I emptied the glass within 15 minutes.

This beer looks a lot like "De Koninck" and is ment to be highly drinkable and not too outspoken.
