Poured from 500mL bottle into my 8th Wonder chalice. Bottled 6/9/21; this batch is 10.6% ABV.
Appearance: lovely amber-orange-golden hue, with a moderate haze to the body and a finger of frothy tan foam atop.
Smell: sweet, tart, and oaky, with just a little bit of the honey coming through. It’s good but maybe edging a bit more toward the sweet side than I like.
Taste: a lovely rich malt combined with a low-key tartness and funk; the barrel is not as pronounced as in the aroma. The honey adds a really good flavor without adding a cloying element; again, this is better in the flavor than in the aroma. This definitely does not drink like a 10.6% beer — dangerous!
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a moderate carbonation and a decent creaminess. Honestly I’m kinda surprised it’s not creamier!
Overall: a really nice, lightly tart, honey ale. It has plenty of alcohol, though, so be careful.

draught
Enduring and laced, white head. Medium orange with a little amber tint, to the look. A bit tart but not bad, with a little spiced note on the very medium light toasted malt base. Pretty tart, with a little bitter edge, leading to a bit of mustiness, on a medium toast malt, way in back, for the taste.
