Pours a med lighter fizzy bubbly 1/2 finger head with moderate retention, semi clear semi hazy lots of floaties, orange-pale color
Nose funky, cheesy funk with some barnyard Brett, and funky souring bacteria, a bit of wine and gin spices, hint of green pepper, a bit of tropical with touch of pineapple, little buttery oak, no vanilla at first, but then some as it warms
Taste comes on tart with more funk, souring bacteria with fair bright acidity, general funk with a little cheesy funk, and a little barnyard Brett, mild sweet golden malt, a bit of vanilla, fair pineapple and tropical fruit, a bit of grapefruit, light white wine and peppery gin spice, light buttery oak, a bit of bitter spice on the back end, some gin with pepper, spice, and piney juniper like character late, fair flemmy finish
Mouth is med bod, med fizzy small bubble carb, fair acidity and a bit flemmy, hint of alcohol late
Overall pretty nice, enjoyable funky sour beer with some barrel, not a big fan of the gin myself but it's OK, thankfully pineapple and vanilla didn't overpower, but it could have used a bit more of both
