Draft at the brewery
Frothy rich tan head with great retention, never goes away completely, dark molasses brownish black color
Nose starts a bit light but opens to chocolate, dark chocolate, light roasted coffee, creamy notes maybe nitro, then some caramel
Taste has a nice rich dark malt, chocolate up front again, cocoa, a hint of roasted coffee, a bit of earthy nutty hazelnut, a bit creamy again I think due to nitro but doesn't overpower, bitterness on the back end from roast and touch of spicy hop, dry finish that borders astringent
Mouth is med to lighter bod but creamy soft nitro
Overall pretty good, would like it better without nitro but still thankfully doesn't overpower, but overall well done for the style, a rare find
