Draft at the brewery served in a glass rimmed with chocolate syrup and cookie crumbles
No head, cloudy opaque almost murky tan to golden brown color
Nose is about what I expected, hard to get the beer past chocolate syrup and oreo cookie, hint of creamy malt... I poured it into a different cup and get creamy malt, maize, cereal grain, light oreo cookie and chocolate syrup with sweet blondie dessert, and hint of golden coffee
Taste is better thankfully, cream ale base with light doughy malt and maize, little citrus and candy bar sugar, mild cookie flavor almost cookies and cream ice cream, light coffee and hint of white chocolate, some bitterness with light earthy spicy hop, mild sticky finish
Mouth is med bod, some creamy notes, lighter carb
Overall I get what they were trying to do, but not something I'm really interested in drinking. If it didn't have the rim job (hehe) it might be better but lost most of the cream ale qualities
