Poured from a can into a snifter
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a small head of white foam. The head fades very fast, leaving a touch of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is lighter overall, with a bit of a cracker malt smell mixed with some grapefruit and notes of grain and toast. Along with these smells are some light herbal and pine notes.
Taste – The taste begins with a crisp cracker malt mixed with a grapefruit and herbal hop. At the same time there is a light level of apricot and peach, along with a touch of orange. The sweet is very light, adding just a little backdrop flavor. As the taste advances some of the sweet fades a touch, all while the herbal hop gets stronger and is accompanied by some pine, leaving one with a nice crisp taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light and crisp with a moderate carbonation level.
Overall – A quite nice and easy drinking IPA. Well-crafted and good natured.
