Update 5/19/26: Fehér Nyúl no longer has regular taproom hours. They are now just open on certain days, for special events, or for brewery tours if you book ahead.

I stopped in to the Fehér Nyúl brewery/taproom about a week ago when I was in Budapest. The taproom is welcoming but a bit industrial, as it shares a space with the brewhouse. It’s smallish, seating maybe 20-25 people, but there’s also an outdoor area (complete with food truck when I visited).
They had 6 beers on tap plus a ton of their canned beers available for takeaway or on-site consumption. The taps had an interesting selection of styles: mate sour, lime gose, pepper saison, pilsner, NEIPA, and Berliner weissbier. I had a taster tray, and each of these beers was interesting and quite good - even the IPA, which in general I found to be hit-or-miss in Hungary.
Service was good and the bartender was patient with my limited Hungarian. I happened to come on a night where they have live music - a blues band set up right there in the brewhouse and played a couple sets. It was a fun time!
