Looks: Thin quarter-finger head that thins out but has great retention after. Super hazy, straw yellow.
Smell: Not the most aromatic IPA, but a hearty sniff reveals an insanely fruity profile. Guava, pineapple, passionfruit, mango, lemon candy, orange zest. No pine character, just fruit.
Taste: No bitterness??? Passionfruit forward, then pineapple and guava. The tiniest bit yeasty. NO BITTERNESS??? Thiolized yeast is some sort of magic. I like a bitter IPA, don't get me wrong, but getting all those flavours without any bitterness is a unique and compelling experience. It drinks as easy as an ISA, but with more flavour.
Feel: Light body, medium carbonation, slightly creamy feel? Not in a sticky way, just silky. Nice.
Overall: A really fascinating drink, really delicious. The lack of bitterness is strange because I expect it with this much flavour, but once I got used to that it was really, really enjoyable.
