Poured from can into pint glass.
Looks: Pours a beautiful deep reddish-purple, thin white head that dissipates quickly.
Smell: Not a lot going on in the nose, just faint Concord grape juice and a bit of funk.
Taste: Concord grape juice over a light sour base. HBC 630 adds some grape candy character, like a purple Jolly Rancher. Wish it was a bit more sour, but it's tasty.
Feel: Very light body. Light tingly carbonation.
Overall: Is what it says on the tin. Very one-dimensional, which is fine, but I would have liked a bit more grape character and/or a bit more sourness to make up for the lack of complexity. Very sessionable though, at least.
