Poured cold from 12-ounce can into a snifter. Appearance leaves little to be desired: dark brown body, with two fingers of thick tan head that left some pretty lacing as it settled. Good roasted malt profiles, with notes of coffee, dark cocoa, molasses, tart cherry, and quite a bit of char. Silky mouthfeel, with good bitterness, a little sweetness, and some tart fruit and char lingering on the finish. I let this warm up from fridge temperature, which allowed the peanut butter to begin coming through on the nose and palate. Very good beer overall. I was expecting more peanut butter, which is my only complaint.
