This luscious hazy IPA is hopped with Citra and a dash of Huell Melon for a soft citrus juice aroma and smooth finish. We employ a "coolpool" (chilling the wort to 170 F after the boil before adding whirlpool hops) to bring out Citra's essential oils and lend a softer bitterness. The result is a delightfully bright, juicy IPA that will get you yearning for spring days.

Cloudy, dirty amber color. Modest head but the rim bubbles last throughout. A few wide streaks and a smattering of spots for lace.
A good combination of floral and peppery hop. The malt holds up but in t the background.
The taste is spicy and quite dry. Neutral carbonation and body. The malt is almost imperceptible—again, very dry. The hop is similar to black pepper. This leaves a long bitter aftertaste.

Poured from a can dated 7/27/20, "Citra-forward New England IPA"
Look is an opaque yellow with a dense frothy white head that recedes to a scattered foam and a smattering of lacing.
Smells of tropical fruit juice and orange pulp.
Tastes similar, fruity juicy hop flavors with a bit of dank quality too.
Feels medium light, sharp carbonation with a bit of prickly hop bitterness.
Overall a good NEIPA, I'm happy to drink more from Remnant.
