Deep brown but light creates a glow to the glass. Minor head that recedes to rim bubbles. The ring lace after each sip is temporary.
Chocolate and crystal malt aroma.
Sweet and darker caramel flavors. Not as rich as most Doppelbocks but the lower carbonation makes it work. Chocolate is the strongest flavor coming forward. There’s a modest hop bitterness for balance. This is a very drinkable Doppelbock without any cloying sugary overreach.
